Arabic and Numbers

Arabic speakers compare two-digit numbers differently. The reason is reading the units first and the decades second. see Japanese Psychological Research, 56(2), 153-167.

Arabic and Text Layout

Arabic Texts with one column are the most efficient for reading comprehension. The inter-line spacing has no effect. The reason is the conncetedness of the Arabic script. see Human Factors, 55(2), 323-332.
