Do you guys allow double-sided printing for your frosted charms as well? Or is it only the other acrylics?
We do! As with opaque materials (white, wood, etc.), you can use the “foreground printing” upgrade to print on both surfaces of the frosted material and allow for a double-sided charm. Be aware that the frosted material is slightly translucent, so if you have different silhouettes for the front and back artwork the white backing layer of the opposing side will be slightly visible through the frosted acrylic!
For file setup, the layers would be: White, Artwork B, and then White 2, Artwork B2 (with the “2” foreground layers being the layers that become mirrored for the reverse side).
Another note - the frosted material has a matte side and a smooth glossy side. By default we print onto the matte side of frosted acrylic unless specifically requested to print onto the glossy side. In the case of foreground frosted charms, the “B” artwork is printed onto the matte side, and the “2B” is printed onto the gloss!
