The Meeting of Mem Salib

In this example of one of her suspenseful stories, Grace writes: “Gene was back in the oasis. The men with whom he worked were congenial yet had a deep secret…”  (Later he was told) ‘When you were found, you were lying by a big cactus bush, your hand stuck in the sand searching for water. … Your clothes were in tatters. We do not know what kept you alive for a month.’ But Gene knew…”

About the author: Grace was a contributing author to Fate Magazine. And she fully blossomed into her joy of writing quite suddenly when she started seeing pictures inside her head. “I no longer had to think of plots, characters, or storylines,” she recalled. “When I picked up a pen to write, the movie would start and I would simply write what I saw on the projection screen of my mind. The movie would play at whatever speed I could write and begin right where it left off. It was so fun and easy that I felt guilty about being paid as a writer. Whenever I wanted to see a movie, I would start writing.”
