Rhododendron ‘Choptank Rose’
The luscious, naturally occuring hybrid between the native Coastal Azalea and native Pinxterbloom Azalea.

Welcome!

Here’s what’s going on in 2023 for Annapolis Native Landscape Design.

Newsletter

I am happy to be able to deliver the newsletter again regularly. Yay!

You are welcome to sign up for the newsletter to learn about designing with native plants. I review books, share new resources, and tell you about the native plants I’m photographing.

There will also be opportunities to attend live classes online (sometimes for free!) Also learn when the recordings of these classes will be offered later for a nominal fee. If you’re interested in the newsletter, check out the archives and/or sign up!

Iris cristata, Dwarf crested iris, makes a lovely 6” groundcover that forms weed-suppressing mats, helping a garden to be lower maintenance.
