India is a land of diversity in Race, Region, Caste and language. St. Thomas, one of the Apostle came as a missionary before 2000 yrs to India and ministered here. But there was not a great number of churches till the end of the 19th century. In recent years so many new churches and Para-church organizations are emerging in India.

Administration
The Chairman has a strategic role to play in representing the vision and purpose of the organisation. The Chairman ensures that the management committee functions properly, all relevant matters are discussed to organisation
Under the University constitution, while the Chancellor is described as "the Head of the University", the Vice- Chancellor is the "Principal Academic and Executive Officer of the University".He functions as a “bridge" academic wings of the university and as he is the head of both these wings, he is both a “teacher” and an "administrator".
The Executive council acts an advisory body to the university president. Empowered to make policy decisions, with the Vice-Chancellor as its Chairman, who is also the Chief Executive of the University.
