Beyond these questions, Alex gave so many insights into the “complex, fucked up” relationship between Bill Cipher and Ford, who would win in a fight (both sober and drunk) between Stan and Ford, and how fandom engages with content today .

For context, NO, Alex has NEVER officially confirmed this! He avoided answering the question in 2015 at a con and in 2016, GF writer Jeff Rowe redacted a statement where he said the baby was Shermie. The baby is still to this day therefore disputed to either be Shermie or Dipper and Mabel’s father. Until now! We got Alex to set the record straight and tell us clearly who the baby is and what he believes is the deal with Shermie. On April 12th, you’ll all know too!!

i love how garnet and pearl are just continuing to use the name of their infamous guerilla military organization while their current jobs are fighting lv4 rpg monsters and giving each other basket weaving seminars. and steven has no context for this and just thinks of “The Crystal Gems” as basically the name for his mom’s side of the family. so he walks up to lapis and says “you should hang out with me and my treehouse friends, the Viet Cong!”
I had an idea last night for a character in a comic/graphic novel who for no reason has obnoxiously huge speech bubbles to the point of everyone else noticing and getting visibly annoyed/worried whenever they’re about to speak. The panel has to expand just to read what they’re saying.
