Beyond The Shackles Wants To Change This.

Our mission is to provide hope to the incarcerated, disenfranchised and their families through the vehicles of prison ministry, education, film,  theatrical arts, special programs, charity events and restorative justice efforts.  These opportunities provide men and women with the encouragement and tools needed to support positive changes

Who We Are

Beyond The Shackles' mission is focused on making a meaningful impact in the lives of incarcerated individuals, their families, and marginalized communities. By providing hope, education, and restorative justice efforts, we aims to support positive change and empower individuals to become stronger leaders.

Incarceration affects not only the individual serving time but also their loved ones, who often face unique challenges and hardships. By extending support to families, Beyond the Shackles recognizes the importance of a holistic approach to rehabilitation and reintegration.

Restorative justice efforts play a vital role in our mission. Instead of focusing solely on punishment, we aim to promote healing, accountability, and the restoration of relationships. This approach recognizes that true rehabilitation involves addressing the underlying causes of criminal behavior and creating opportunities for individuals to make amends and reintegrate into society successfully.

Our Work With Families Of The Incarcerated

At Beyond the Shackles, we recognize that the impact of incarceration is not limited to the individual serving time, but also extends to their families and loved ones. We provide resources and support to families impacted by incarceration, including Life Elevation Coaching, spiritual programs, conferences, and prayer. Our goal is to provide hope and encouragement to families, as well as to foster a sense of community and support. We believe that by working with families, we can help create a brighter future both during and after incarceration.
