Four years ago Covid disrupted our plans, but we’ve finally made it.
Thank god my friends were so willing to get up on the ladder and measure and mark and do a good job with the 3M hooks and Command Strips, the poles and the level. I was quite prepared, but when the time came I was rather overwhelmed with other concerns. There is no way I could have tackled the job of hanging by myself.
My first solo quilt show opened on March 6, 2020. It had to close 3 days later due to the pandemic. The San Francisco School of Needlework and Design is gracious in offering me a second chance in their fabulous new space on Battery Street in San Francisco.
