Catherine Hampton has been a professional musician and storyteller for over 40 years. Weaving musical enchantment on her Irish harp and tin whistle, and spinning tales that touch the heart and tickle the funny bone, Catherine enthralls audiences with her own special brand of creative artistry.

For thirteen years Catherine served as the librarian at an elementary school in Santa Cruz County. Known affectionately as Ms. Cat, she brought books to life for avid young readers through her dramatically-voiced read-alouds, and introduced the art of musical storytelling to students and staff in her magical library setting.

Catherine is the author of three children’s books. She is also a playwright with more than a dozen works to her credit. Five of her plays have been produced for Zoom audiences!
