Cause Film Festival is the festival with heart.
We are an annual short film festival with a big goal. To support film makers, charities and causes to spread their message to a wider audience. All profits made are donated to the cause or charity represented by the winning film.
Have you ever wanted to make a difference in the world? To make an impact and create your legacy? To leave the world a slightly better place than when you joined? Well now you can!
And you don't have to be an experienced film maker to enter. Anyone can enter a film made on any device, even an iPhone. All you need is to have a cause that you want to support through the art of entertainment. And the film must be shorter than 12 minutes. So what are you waiting for? Go out and make a difference!

2019 Winning Charity
The Horses won Best Film in 2019. Director/Producer Nick Barkla is going on to produce a longer version of the film about the charitable initiative Thoroughbred and Veteran Welfare Alliance.
2018 Winning Charity
Superheroes by Chris Busuttilβs winning film nominated the winnings to go to Project O which is part of the charity Big Hart. The donation of $1.3k was donated to this charity and the filmmakers also received a trophy, certificate and top prizes from our sponsors.
2017 Winning Charity
Our 2017 Winning Charity was Be The Match, a charity raising awareness for blood cancer and bone marrow donation program.
They won a trophy, $850 donation and other top prizes from our sponsors.
