Naomi grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and got her BA from The University of California at Santa Cruz.

She majored in Community Studies, with concentrations in Economic Justice and Agriculture & Food Justice. She later pursued her passion for cooking at the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts, receiving a Professional Plant Based Chef Certification.

Naomi has a wide breadth of job experience, from cooking healthy meals at the Jewish Community Center, to raising money through team building events at Habitat for Humanity, and leading development and communications at Sustainable Food Center. 

Naomi resides in Austin, Texas, and serves as the Director of Development at Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation.
