FAQ's

WHO ARE COUNTRY CONNECT?

Established in 2016, Country Connect is a privately owned company and an established independent communications provider [CP], addressing the connectivity requirements of an increasingly digital world and providing high-speed network access solutions into some of the most challenging rural locations.

At Country Connect we provide a number of different kind of broadband service – including our full-fibe, ultrafast and bulletproof broadband.

Service excellence is at the heart of all that we do, starting with our customer-first approach to delivery and resulting in the very best connectivity within our enabled communites

WHAT IS FTTP?

Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) means that that fibre broadband that is wired directly to the home instead of a cabinet that services the area (which is referred to as FTTC, or fibre to the cabinet). The cable connecting your property to the service is fibre and not copper, providing a far superior, faster, more reliable broadband connection. FTTP, unlike FTTC, uses all fibre optic cables, making it the fastest type of fibre you can get. A typical FTTC broadband connection might offer around 50Mbps whereas FTTP can offer up to 900Mbps.
