Mission

Cumberland Pride was started to promote love, acceptance, and diversity in Western Maryland. We will be celebrating our 6th Pride Festival June 4, 2023. We specifically support the LGBTQIA+ community through events and education within the community.  

Goals

Our main goal is to create a safe place for those seeking acceptance. We target the LGBTQIA+ community but aim to create a space for all. We support, educate, and uplift members of the LGBTQIA+ community within Western Maryland. The festival is our grassroots doorway that has opened pathways to outreach and advocacy work in the community.
