Week of June 29, 2020 - COVID-19 Economic Impact on Dental Practices
During the week of June 29, dental practices were seeing patient volumes that were on average 70% of pre-COVID-19 levels. The latest HPI COVID-19 Economic Impact Poll data suggest the dental care rebound may be slowing.
With nine weeks of reopening data now collected as part of the ADA Health Policy Institute’s (HPI) ongoing polling of the economic impact of COVID-19 on dental practices, we’re beginning to see signs that patient volumes may be nearing a “new normal” that are below pre-COVID-19 capacities.
