Welcome One and All!

D&K Education 180 is a Jacksonville based tutoring business. We believe each person has a unique personality and as such each person will have different educational needs. We work with all ages of students from kindergarten through graduate school and beyond. We named our company Education 180 because we want to help each person who comes to us to turn their situation around (to do a 180).

Our students have seen an improvement in SAT scores between 30 and 200 points as well as ACT scores improving between 2 and 7 points.

Our History

      D&K Education 180 began with the passion for science and a desire to help others in their educational journey. Contact us today so that we can walk along with you toward your educational goals.

Tutors and Sessions

Our process is to fit students with the best tutor for their needs. We look into subject matter and availability when deciding on which tutor would work best. Every tutor has had a background check before we agree to partner with them. 

If for some reason the tutor you have been placed with is not an adequate fit, please let our office manager, Amy, know and she will do her best to find another tutor to meet your needs.

We offer a half hour free session when meeting with your tutor for the first time. We find this allows the student and tutor to evaluate the need and discuss a plan for future sessions. Any overage of time past the half hour is billed accordingly. Please let us know if you're interested in this service.

Types of Learners

   Just like our personalities, each person learns in a different manner. At D&K Education 180, we strive to incorporate the student's unique learning style into each lesson. 

   Students are given a learning style test during the first session. This gives a base line from which the student and tutor can work. From that foundation a new approach to learning can begin.

  In this, students will also receive new study techniques. When this approach is then paired with the vast knowledge base of our tutors, students have the opportunity to fulfill their educational potential.

General tutoring is $55 an hour.

Test prep tutoring (ACT, SAT, etc) is $60 an hour.
