Donegal Getaways was established in 2019 with the mission of funding our animal sanctuary, Rescue Ranch Donegal. We started with one getaway, the Seaview Chalet, and added three others - Fort Apache (2020), Father Ted Experience (2021), and the Christmas Cabin (2023). All of these locations have been specifically chosen because they are away from the noise, centred among old famine ruins, near a peaceful, secluded beach, and showcase the true Donegal.
Our self catering locations attract people from all across the world, and we’ve been delighted to have already received excellent feedback from guest... When you book a stay with us, you have the added benefit of enabling us to help the 47+ animals in our sanctuary, which include donkeys, shetlands, sheep, dogs, cats, ducks, and more incredible creatures!
