Welcome to Eastville Baptist!
Our mission at Eastville Baptist Church is to equip each other with the light of Christ so we can show it to those around us. Here at EBC, we are dedicated to the good news of Jesus Christ as seen in the unfolding story of the Bible. We warmly welcome you to experience it here with us, responding to God as He reveals Himself in His Word. Rather than hoarding the grace He's shown us, we want to bless our community with it. We seek to be a shelter for the hurting and a loving presence to those in need. Through the Scriptures and these tangible efforts, we hope you will glimpse the justice, mercy, beauty, and heart of the incredible God who redeems us!
Meet the Pastor
Andrew grew up in the Midwestern flatlands of Omaha, Nebraska. Though raised in a Christian home, it was not until his teenage years that he was pushed to think through what the gospel of Christ really meant. That shift in his life brought about a passion for understanding God’s Word, and a passion for helping others understand it, too. With encouragement from his church and an excitement for ministry, he went on to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. It was there that he met Stephanie and where they had their first year together as a married couple some three years later. Andrew and Stephanie both graduated from Moody, Andrew with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Exposition and Stephanie's in Biblical Languages. They graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School together afterwards, each receiving their Master of Divinity in 2019. They have two daughters, both born on the Shore, a dog, two cats, and some fish! Andrew enjoys making board games, computer programming, writing music, and taking walks to get his eyes off the screens and books.
