Welcome to Encino Commons, the Valley’s Miracle Mile! Located within the heart of Encino, Encino Commons is a unique collection of eateries, shops, and theaters in the Valley. With a diverse mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, this is a part of the Valley with a rich history and unparalleled resources. As a Business Improvement District, the local property owners have chosen to express their pride in the area by creating a fresh, new atmosphere to establish Encino Commons as a premiere retail, dining and entertainment destination. Formed in August 2000,

Encino Commons is a self-imposed, annually assessed, Business Improvement District (BID) comprised of 63 commercial property owners representing 74 parcels. The BID was formed with the sole purpose of enhancing the business area on Ventura Boulevard between White Oak and Balboa Boulevards, creating an aesthetically pleasing and vibrant commercial corridor. The Encino Commons BID invests the largest portion of its budget to streetscape improvements and maintenance efforts. Over the years, the BID has installed and maintains 2 landscaped street medians, 175 trees, 15 planting boxes and 38 planters throughout the district through general landscape maintenance and pruning. Additionally, the BID provides sidewalk sweeping/pressure washing services and emptying of litter receptacles. Hardscape Improvements include the Encino Commons Gateway Sign, benches, chairs, decorative crosswalks and bus stops. The BID is currently working on installing decorative flower basket poles that will add a charming touch to the district. Thanks for visiting Encino Commons, the Valley’s Miracle Mile!
