To rent a piece of equipment you must first make an account on equipmentrentalz.com. To qualify to rent you must be at least 18 years or older, live in the contiguous 48 states of America, and possess a valid driver's license. All details of the rental including price and scheduling is done on the equipmentrentalz platform and is approved by the owner of the piece of equipment.
No, you do not need insurance to rent equipment. However, please note that any damage caused while using a piece of rented equipment is your responsibility. Equipmentrentalz is not responsible for any damage or wrecks to equipment.
It is not required to carry insurance on the equipment you post to rent. However, it is highly recommended that you insure your equipment. Equipmentrentalz is not responsible for any damage or wrecks to equipment.
The renter can cancel within 48 hours of the rental start date with no penalty. Any cancellation made after the 48-hour window is subject to a cancellation fee and/or no refund depending on the conditions outlined by the equipment owner. There is also an option to reschedule your rental up to 48 hours before your rental period begins.
If the equipment owner cancels the rental, the renter will receive a full refund for any scheduled days the equipment was not rented.
If there is an emergency while using a piece of equipment, please contact the equipment owner directly. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911 and get to a safe location prior to contacting the equipment owner regarding the incident.
The equipment owner has the option to offer delivery. All delivery, pick-up and drop-off details need to be arranged privately between the equipment owner and renter. Equipmentrentalz.com does not provide delivery services.
All rental rates are set by the equipment owner. Equipmentrentalz.com does not have any influence over rental pricing. If an equipment owner chooses to offer a discount, that will be reflected on the posting. To create a fair market and friendly community, equipmentrentalz places all control of pricing in the hands of equipment owners.
Unlike other rental platforms, equipmentrenalz puts full control of pricing in the hands of the equipment owner. This creates a fair market rental price per piece of equipment and more money in the pockets of our equipment owners.
It is the responsibility of the equipment owner to have the equipment prepped and ready for immediate use upon pick-up. All regular and standard maintenance is the responsibility of the equipment owner. Any damage resulting from the use of equipment during rental is the responsibility of the renter. The renter must pay for all repairs related to damage they caused.
To qualify as a rentable piece of equipment, it must be in full working order and in minimally fair to good condition.
