Mission:

An engagement space for communities to collaborate and strategize on radically inclusive projects, outcomes, and solutions

We are all part of a larger community, but not everyone feels connected to the places where they live, work, and enjoy social activities. Community engagement is important because it helps build the connection to the community, which is necessary for people to feel like they belong. When everyone in the community comes together to collaborate, it reduces social isolation and community issues are addressed collectively. The goal of Community Engagement Collective (CEC)’s programming is to empower communities to engage with each other face to face, and to increase community connectedness and engagement.
