We are a new build professional snagging company offering comprehensive snagging surveys of properties throughout South Wales. The areas we cover include Bridgend, Cardiff, Barry & Vale of Glamorgan, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.
Your builder should have called to see you within 7 days of moving in. The purpose of their visit is to take a list of defects, otherwise known as snags. Your builder may have overlooked certain issues and some may not have become apparent until afterwards.
Snagging issues range from leaks, heating faults, un-level ceilings, floors and walls, damaged units, missing insulation, poor joinery, structural issues and general poor workmanship. Not only can these faults be disappointing for new homeowners, they can also cause additional costs in the future. It is therefore better that these faults are rectified by the builder at the outset.
We have the equipment and expertise to be able to identify these issues and produce a comprehensive report to be provided to your builder.
Most residential property developers are National House Building Council (NHBC) or Local Authority Building Control (LABC) registered. This means that your property has a 2 year warranty and if you notify your builder about something you believe to be an issue, they must put this right at their own cost and within a reasonable time.
