women’s health today: supplements. sex. screenings. sleep

Aging is a consequence of life. As women mature, specific health concerns and body changes invite us to lean in - rather than deny - the transformation. We already know that being mindful of changes, seeing your doctor regularly, and maintaining a healthy balance are the foundations of aging well. But, this is not the time for one-stop shopping.

Every woman is unique. What works for one may not elicit the same results for another. This Light House event offers a targeted, professional take on the most relevant issues in women’s health today. From everyday women’s health risks to sex over 50, cancer, auto-immune diseases, and chronic pain, our experts leverage the latest research and trends, debunking myths and shedding light on the mindsets, life hacks, treatments, and strategies you need to live better, longer, and happier while tapping into the wellspring of energy within us all.

caring for your aging parents: what to expect and how not to lose yourself in the process

This popular Light House series first launched in 2021 and was featured in the Wall Street Journal. It remains one of our most requested series and we are thrilled to offer it again. No child ever wants to have “that” talk about how to care for their aging parents. Having siblings or other relatives in the mix can be bittersweet. If you are on the same page with your sibs and each one can identify and execute their own personal responsibility, it is a blessing. If there is friction among the ranks, however, it can be a nightmare and make a bad situation even worse. Change is not easily accepted by people in their September years; likewise, it is a disjointed and topsy-turvy foray into the unknown for the adult offspring who are charged with their care. The only sure thing is that this topic WILL come up at some point in your life. The better prepared and informed you are, the less emotionally and financially stressful this new chapter will be.

Class Type: Virtual

Dates: Wednesdays: March 20th ; March 27th ; April 3rd ; April 10th ; April 17th and April 24th

Times: 5:30pm - 6:30pm PST

Who would have thought I'd gain close new friends that know my story and encourage/support me as needed? A 6 week session turned strangers into trusted confidants.

Hi! I’m Corey....

Balancing marriage, career, and motherhood is not easy. I craved a place to get real with other women facing similar challenges, someplace I could gain perspective on a shared experience and hopefully find community in the process.

I had a board of directors at work and an incredible community of women around me, but that level of support was missing in my personal life. I wanted experienced, unbiased advisors who were willing to give honest counsel, mentorship, and smart guidance about life.

As the idea grew, I met many talented and wise women who joined me on this journey. Together, we created a place where women could come together and get real - without fear, bias or judgment.

Light House was created for me, for you, and the countless women out there in the world who crave wisdom, insight, and community in life’s journey.

inclusion

We benefit from outside experience and perspective. Each group is vetted to ensure chemistry and a diverse balance of backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and life experiences.

My expectations were definitely surpassed. Our class was intelligent, intuitive, and warm in a way that made it feel safe to open up. I really appreciated being able to participate in a dialogue with a group of women so transparent and willing to dig deep in order to better themselves.
