Just plain excellent work. I contracted with Joan Montoya to paint my Santa Fe house and garage in September ‘21 based on word-of-mouth recommendations and after personally viewing some of her work in the area. As impressive as her previous work was, I also felt compelled to interview some ten other contractors in addition to Joan before making a decision on whom to hire.

 

My first indication that Joan was head and shoulders above any of the other contractors was her professional, but warm, personality. Further, while inspecting the work that I wanted done, Joan pointed out areas that needed special attention before work could start – something none of her competitors took the time to do, saving me both time and money.

 

As soon as the actual work began it was obvious that I made the right decision in hiring Joan. Her work was punctuated by three qualities: Joan has an artist’s eye for proportion, color and hue, she is fast in accomplishing the work but also conscientious in her attention to detail, and most importantly she inspired confidence in me that the work would be executed on time and within budget, two variables that are hardly ever achieved in the realm of construction and renovations, and I say that from the perspective of a professional career in architecture and engineering.

 

In my opinion Webster’s book does not contain enough superlatives to describe Joan and her work.
