HOW DO I PROPERLY HOLD BAVARIAN EDGE™?
Using your non-dominate hand, hold the upper corner of Bavarian Edge™ firmly, making sure your arm and hand are facing away from your knife.
WHAT SIDE OF BAVARIAN EDGE™ FACES ME WHEN I WANT SHARPEN MY BLADES?
As you inspect your Bavarian Edge™, you’ll notice that one side has the sharpening arms, while the other side simply has the knobs. Make sure the side with the sharpening arms faces you.
HOW DO I POLISH MY KNIFE BLADE?
Polishing your knife gives the blade a sharp, smooth edge. To polish, position your knife horizontally in your hand and through the opening of Bavarian Edge™. With your other hand, carefully separate the sharpening arms. Lightly move your blade in a back and forth sawing motion. Do not push your knife down.
HOW DO I COARSELY SHARPEN MY KNIFE BLADE?
Position your knife in your hand so the knife’s handle is higher than the top of the blade. Gently pull the knife through the opening, applying only a light amount of downward pressure. Pull your knife through 3-4 times. Make sure to follow-up with a fine sharpening. Do not push your knife down.
HOW DO I FINELY SHARPEN MY KNIFE BLADE?
Position your knife in your hand so the knife’s handle is lower than the tip of the blade. Gently pull the knife through the opening, applying only a light amount of downward pressure. Repeat a few times. Do not forcefully push down.
HOW DO I CLEAN BAVARIAN EDGE™?
While in use, some metal shavings may accumulate on Bavarian Edge™ and the knife you are sharpening. Periodically wipe down Bavarian Edge™ with a soft, damp cloth to remove shavings. After you sharpen a knife with Bavarian Edge™, make sure to remove all metal shavings from the blade. Bavarian Edge™ is not dishwasher safe and should not be attempted to be cleaned with any harmful or abrasive chemicals.
HOW DO I POSITION MY HAND THAT’S HOLDING BAVARIAN EDGE™?
Using your non-dominant hand, hold the upper corner of Bavarian Edge™ with your arm facing away from the sharpening arms. To avoid injury, never put body parts in your blade’s path while using Bavarian Edge™.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY KNIFE IS SHARP?
Test the sharpness of your blade by running the blade across an object, such as a tomato. Never test your knife’s sharpness by running the blade across your fingers or body parts. This may result in injury.
WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF THE LIFETIME WARRANTY?
Bavarian Edge™ has a lifetime warranty that covers the lifetime of the product. Should anything happen to your Bavarian Edge™ under normal usage, you will receive your money back, less shipping and handling and/or depreciation.
