This week's new font is "Warriatron." Warriatron is tall, techno-styled super-hero font. Great for portrait oriented projects where the horizontal space limited, Warriatron is a very legible font at larege to mid point-sizes. The font looks best italicized, though there are straight versions for each variation, for a total of 23 fonts in the family (each with an extended Latin character set). Several letters have alternate letter forms between the cases. TTF and OTF formats are included.

On the spacing war front, here are 12 more font updates of new versions for the following 12 fonts to tighten the word spacing:

It's been a while, but finally, today's new font is "Quicky Nick." A fun and cool super-hero/adventure themed font, Quicky Nick draws its inspriation from an old Nick Fury logo briefly used by Marvel in the 80's. Quicky Nick is an italicized font, but there are vaious slanted versions, including straight versions. The family includes a total of 21 variations and each has an extended Latin character set. Several letters have alternate letter forms between the cases. TTF and OTF formats are included.

Also being released is Version 2.0 of "Boomhauer." More than just updating the font's spacing, Version 2.0 of Boomhauer modifes a number of the upper case letters to make them solid without the upper-right horizontal cut-out. I realized that a number of words would look better if certain letters did not have the cut-out. This has been done across all 17 versions of the font family and both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP files.

And the war on spacing continues with the release of new versions for the following 12 fonts to tighten the word spacing (except for Future Forces, which I've updated again to increase the spacing:

The new font this week is "DiaClone." DiaClone is a a straight forward, all caps sci-fi font based on the more recent Transformers' logo for their "Generations" line of toys. "Diaclone" was the original Japanese name for what became "Transformers." The font family includes a total of 22 different variations (each with an extended Latin character set) and many of the letters have an alternate letter form between the two cases. Both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

Also releasing new versions of six fonts to improve and tighten the word spacing:

My ongoing war continues as I combat a large number of my fonts that have their word spacing waaaay too wide! I look at these fonts and wonder what the heck I was thinking when I decided that the spacing looked right and it was good to be released. Here is the list of the 6 font families I've updated again to fix these issues:

Today's new font release is "Drover." Drover is a brand spanking new western-themed font that's perfect for all your cowboy and cowgirl needs! Bold and strong, Drover gets the job done. The font family includes a total of 18 different variations for different looks and effects (each with an extended Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro). Plus, both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

Introducing "Dynamic Trooper", a fan-font modelled after one of the the logos of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers! Dynamic Trooper is an italicized font, but there are also "straight" versions within the font family, which includes a total of 19 variations. In keeping with the original logo, the upper case letters taller than the lower case ones. Also, a number of the extended characters include taller and shorter versions of those in the base character set, such as numerals for example.

Also being released is Version 1.1 of "Delta Phoenix" and Verion 1.1 of "Front Runner." Version 1.1 of each font updates and tightens both the letter and word spacing across all versions of the respective font families. Both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

Today's new font is a dingfont - part font, part dingbat. "Hola Mota" has retro, electronic styled letters on the screens of the older mobile phone designs, before the advent of smart phones. The upper case letters are solid while the lower case ones are outlined, giving you two different looks in each version of the font. In total there are 18 different versions in the family - check out the "Ergodynamic" (shown below) and "3D" versions! Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

This week's new font is "Supercharge!" Supercharge is a bold, italicized display font modelled after the logo of the NFL's Los Angeles Charger's football team. Several of the upper case letters have a pointed serif in the upper left corner and others have a distinctive lightning bolt descender as shown in the graphics below. And while it's a slanted font, there are also "straight" versions for each variation, with the font familly totalling 16 different files. Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

2024's first font release is a Two'fer Tuesday!

The first font is "Bridge OFFicer." Bridge OFFIcer (spelled that way for the effect I wanted the graphics to have) is a squared, angular sci-fi font with no curves. The font has a number of sharp descenders for certain characters, and while the base font is italicized, there are also straight versions - for a total of 23 variations in the font family, each with an extended Latin character set. Many of the letters have an alternate letter from between the two cases. Both TTF and OTF included.

The second is a dingbats font. "Air Force II" is a much improved font from my original Air Force dingbts font from 1999 - 25 years ago! These are dingbats of fighter planes, bombers, attach helicopers, and other military aircraft. Air Force II consists of two different fonts: one has the details of each aircraft and the other is all silhouettes of the aircraft. Each glyph of both fonts has a mirrored counterpart between the upper and lower cases. Use of a character map program, such as Windows' Character Map, will be helpful in exploring and using these fonts.

Today's new font is "Fox on the Go." Fox on the Go is a derivative of my previous Fox on the Run font. While Fox on the Run had a true upper and lower case character set, Fox on the Go has a unicase design with a mixture of upper and lower case letter designs. Many of the letters have an alternate letter form between the two cases. All totalled, there are 31 variations in the font family, and each version comes with an extended Latin character set. Both TTF and OTF are included.

This week's new font is "Power Broker." Power Broker is my take on the classic Agency Black extended font. Bold, powerful and sleek, Power Broker is a heavy techno font that truly adds weight to your projects. The font family includes 23 different variations, each with a complete Latin character set. Many of the font's letters have an alternate letterform between the upper and lower cases and both TTF and OTF formats are included in the download.

The new font this week is "Intrepid Spear." Intrepid Spear is a comic book title font with a bold design and rounded corners. The font breaks down into 2 sub-families: Regular and LC ("Lower Case"). In the "Regular" versions, most of the capital letters have alternate letter forms between the cases to mix and match, while the LC versions include a true lower case letter set. All totalled, there are 28 variations in the font family. Each version comes with an extended Latin character set.

This week's new font is "Buckin' Bronc." Modelled after the popular Bronco SUV logo, Buckin' Bronc is a wide, powerful display font with thick vertical lines and thin horizontal ones. The font breaks down into 3 sub-families: Regular, Spaced (for better looking results at smaller point sizes), and Title (for more of the expannded look of the Bronco's actual logo). All totalled, there are 30 variations in the font family. Each version comes with an extended Latin character set.

The new font today is "3agle." 3agle is a sci-fi font with sharp angles and corners, as well as ultra-hitech character designs. Very sleek and cutting in appearance, the font is a bit of a thinner design, though there are bold versions in the family. Just about every letter has an alternate design between the upper and lower cases. The font family includes a total of 17 variations and each has an extended Latin character set (with accents and the Euro). Both TTF and OTF formats included.

Today's new font is "Tower of Silence." Strong like a mighty fortress, Tower of Silence is a great comic book title font. The lower case letter designs are pretty straight-forward with nothing fancy, but a lot of the upper case letters have a little more flourish, giving you the flexibilty to mix and match for your preferred look. The font family includes a total of 17 variations for different slants and widths, and each version has an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro).

On a side note, there will be no Halloween Fontfest this year, as real life has been extremly hectic and I have not had the time to do a proper Fontfest. Hopefully next year!!!

Bold but heavy, most of Drius' letters have an alternate letterform between the upper and lower cases for mixing and matching to your taste. The font family includes a total of 17 variations, including a number of "straight" versions, for different looks and effects and each version has an extended Latin character set.

This week's new font is "Brave Phoenix." Brave Phoenix is an all-caps, sans-serif title font with a sharp, straightforward look and design. While it can be used in sci-fi projects, its aesthetics make it great for sports, racing, action, superhero and pretty much any modern themed projects. The family includes a total of 24 different variations making the font even more versatile, and each version has an extended Latin character set. Both OTF and TTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

Today's new font is "Ninjabot." Ninjabot is a wide, semi-bold and squared techno font with slick characters and a distinct sci-fi feel. The majority of the letters have alternate letterforms between the upper and lower cases for mixing and matching, and the font is great for lkandscape oritented projects. The family includes a total of 18 variations for different effects and looks, each with an extended Latin character set. Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

And the update today is version 1.2 of "Legio Sabina." Inspired by one of the logos of the Legion of Super-Heroes from the 80's, Legio Sabina was first released in 2016. Legio Sabina Version 1.2 tightens the word spacing for a better look. With the addition of several new variations, the font family now totals 18 versions of the font. Both TTF and OTF are included.

The new font this week is "Flight Legion." Flight Legion is a sleek, slanted font with a true upper and lower case characer set. At first this font was meant as an all-caps typeface, but working on a lower-case showed that the font would look even better. While the base font is italicized, there are "stright" versions of the font - for a total of 24 different variations in the combined font family. Each version comes with an extended Latin character and both TTF and OTF formats are included.

Also being released is Version 1.2 of "Anakefka." First released in 2009, Anakefka is a heavy, bold block-font, but 14 years ago the character and word spacing were way too wide to get the look that was intended. Version 1.2 updates the spacing for a tighter, better look. And with a few new versions, the font family now includes 16 variations. Both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

This week's new font is "Code Red." Code Red is a dingfont - meaning it's an alphabetical letter font but designed with additional glyphs to make the font decorated for a desired look. Code Red is a sci-fi font to invoke a sense of danger or alertness, just like a red alert might look on the screens of Star Trek, Mission Impossible or other action films. The family includes 14 different variations with different spaces, slants and weights. Both OTF and TTF formats are included.

Today's new font is "Icewave." Icewave is a comic-book styled title/display font that looks better, in my opinion, italicized. With a tall character build and some simple serifs and "half-serifs," Icewave chills out on your page with a cool look that's great for portrait oriented projects. The font family includes a total of 25 variations for different effects and looks, each with an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro). Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

And the update today is version 1.2 of "Deathshead." Deathshead is a fan-font for Castle Wolfenstein first released only about four years ago. Deathsehad Version 1.2 tightens the word spacing for an improved look when using the font for more than one word. This update has been applied to all 18 variations of the font. Both TTF and OTF are included in the ZIP file.

The new font this week is "TK-421." TK-421 is a futuristic typeface using both rounded and sharp angles to create characters with an almost minimalistic, geometric design. Despite the infamous Stormtrooper designation, TK-421 is not a Star Wars font - I just like it as a name for a font. In total there are 18 different versions in the font family, each with an extended Latin character. Each letter has an alternate letterform between the upper and lower cases.

Also being released is Version 1.2 of "1st Enterprises." First released in 2017, 1st Enterprises is a rounded and ergodynamic sci-fi display font with a fluid look and feel. Version 1.2 updates both the chatacter and word spacing across all 24 versions of the font family, making for a better-looking, tighter-fitting typeface. Both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

This week's new font is "Captain Falcon." Captain Falcon is a sleek, futuristic font with a semi-bold frame and a number of semi-stencil characters. Rounded corners and a number of characters with tapered points make this font great for any sci-fi or action-oriented projects. The family includes 24 different variations and each version has an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro). Most of the letters have different letterforms between the upper and lower cases.

The new font this week is "Planet Joust." Planet Joust is a retro sci-fi font modeeled after the 1982 arcade game Space Duel. Bold, thick and rounded, Planet Joust takes to back to the future of the 80's! The font family has a wide ranging 30 different variations for diferent slants, widths and effects, and each version comes with an extended Latin character set. Most letters have an alternate form between the upper and lower cases. Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

Today's new font is "Valiant Times LC" (LC meaing "lower case). A derivative of my all-caps Valiant Times font, Valiant Times LC includes a true lower case letterset. This means there are no alternate upper case letter options, but overall the font is much more flexible and can be used by folks who want text that includes both upper and lower cases - albeit very bold text! The font family includes a total of 27 variations for different effects and looks. Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

And my next update to the spacing issues in a number of my fonts is Version 1.2 of "Speedwagon." Speedwagon Version 1.2 tightens the word spacing, which was way too wide before. Version 1.2 also adds 3 new variations to the font family, bringing the total number of versions to 19. Both TTF and OTF are included in the ZIP file.

The new font this week is "Super Brigade." Super Brigade is a new italicized sci-fi font that's bold, sleek and powerful. There are also "straight" versions of the font, and all in total there are 16 different versions in the font family. Each version comes with an extended Latin character set that includes accents and the Euro. The upper case letters are larger to give an approximation of capital letters. Both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

This week's new font is "Gold Ingots." Tall letters and a semi-serif, stylized design make this headings/titles display font very clean and very easy to read even at smaller point sizes, and can be used for any number of genres. It's also a great choice for lettering in portrait oriented projects. The family includes 31 different variations to fit your needs and each version has an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro). Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

Introducing "Mission: Danger." Right out of the spy thriller genre, Mission: Danger is a sci-fi action font that's also very retro, and instantly evokes the likes of James Bond, Napolean Solo and the Impossible Mission Force! Sleek with a lot of cutouts, Mission: Danger looks best, to me, italicized. The font family includes a total of 24 variations for different slants and effects and each version has an extended Latin character set. Both TTF and OTF formats are included.

Also, in my constant battle to get the spacing in a lot of the fonts updated (usually to tighten the spacing), here's Version 3.3 of "Strikelord." Yes, Version 3.3. So I obviously have had headaches trying to get this ultra sci-fi font to look the way I want it to. Version 3.3 improves both the character and word spacing, and also adds a few new versions for a total family of 25 variations (each with an extended Latin character set). Both TTF and OTF are included in the ZIP file.

The new font this week is "Gamer Spot." Gamer Spot is a fat and thick sci-fi font with futuristic character designs and a heavy build. Somewhat octagonal in design, Gamer Spot's characters have a slightly rounded block look and feel that is also extremly bold. The font family includes a total of 18 variations for different effects and each version has an extended Latin character set (including accents and the Euro). Both TTF and OTF formats are included in the ZIP file.

We also have an updated font for release, Version 1.3 of "OmegaForce." Another one of my personal favorites, OmegaForce is a sci-fi font with a retro look that takes you all the way back to the '80's! But it also looks like the future still to come. Version 1.3 improves the character and word spacing, and also adds a few new versions for a total family of 24 variations (each with an extended Latin character set).
