I am a fully qualified professional therapist:

  • Complimentary Therapies Level 2 and Spa Therapy Level 3 at Bath College.
  • I've learned multiple Thai techniques in Chiang Mai and Bangkok.
  • I've studied Traditional Thai Massage at Wat Po Traditional Medical and Massage School.
  • I have 2 years experience working at the 5 Star Gainsborough Spa Hotel in Bath.
I offer a range of massage techniques for both ladies and gentleman. I am passionate about helping people and improving their lives. I specialise in deep tissue massage and offer techniques to help with the  back, shoulders, neck, legs, hands and feet. Due to the time it takes for me to understand and then work on my clients problems I need at least 2 hours per appointment. Please do not come if you are expecting a nice relaxing massage for one hour.

I am based in a beautiful and relaxing setting just outside Bath.

What happens at your first treatment ?
When you arrive we'll discuss your relevant medical history and your reasons for coming for massage. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for the first session (not charged). After that we can decide the best treatment  depending on what's needed or what you would like.

Where does the massage take place?

Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Massage with Herbal Compress will be on a mattress on the floor with enough space for the yoga stretches required. Aromatherapy Massage and Remedial Thai / Sports Massage takes place on a massage bed.

What shall I wear?
Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Massage with Herbal Compress take place fully clothed and I will lend you light, loose clothes to work on for the massage. For Aromatherapy Massage and Remedial Thai / Sports Massage much of the work is done directly on skin using oils or balm and I will provide blankets and towels to cover areas I'm not working on.

Remedial Thai / Sports Massage - how many sessions will I need?
Some body pain can be resolved in one or two sessions of Sports massage, however some pain issues that have been building up for a longer time due to physical imbalance or chronic tension will take longer to resolve. In these cases three to six treatments fairly close together can make a significant difference. Some problems can be resolved, and some managed, depending on the severity of their nature and how long they have been present.

Is Remedial Thai / Sports Massage painful?

Not in an unpleasant way. Deep tissue massage techniques on blocked or tight areas can feel like a good, relieving 'pain' , but it should generally have a relaxing element to it.  I would always ask permission before any deeper work. It's always a balance , but for many people deeper pressure massage is ultimately more relaxing and effective than something that is too light.
