One Step at a Time

We know trauma changes the brain, but the good news is, so does healing.

There is hope. You are not stuck. The brain can be rewired.

Similarly to how we forge a pathway through a crowded forest, we can create new pathways in our brains, new ways of relating to ourselves, others, and the world around us. The work can seem daunting. However, the more familiar these paths become, the easier it is to travel them over and over again. And, we will do that together, one step at a time.

With each sunrise is another day to keep trying and take another step. I’d love to join you on that journey.

MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST

Hey there, I’m Jasmine.

(she/her)

My approach to therapy is systemic and holistic. I believe everyone makes sense in the context of their story. I seek to view people in their context—their family, their culture, their career, etc—and as embodied—made up of mind, body, and soul.

I work across the lifespan (ages 4+) integrating various therapeutic modalities. My lens is trauma-informed and attachment-focused. I love incorporating creative elements into therapy including play, art, movement, and the sand tray.

I understand the risk and the courage it takes to share your story. I am committed to the ongoing work of anti-racism and work from a Health-At-Every-Size model. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and a member of the community. Overall, I hope to create an inclusive and welcoming space.

SERVICES

Areas of Focus

Trauma

I use a combination of EMDR, EFIT, and parts work to process trauma and empower clients to reclaim their story.

Anxiety

I use a self-compassionate approach to help clients not only find relief from anxiety, but identify the bravery and courage they’ve had within them all along

Attachment

I use experiential techniques to both grieve attachment wounds and explore new ways for clients to view themselves and interact in relationships.
