Meet Joel.
I have performed with an array of artists in New York, throughout the country, and abroad. I have supported singer-songwriters, played in instrumental groups and recorded with a diverse range of artists.
My approach to music is simple:
I always listen and support the song or composition. And of course, make it feel good!
The Studio
A bright and inviting control/tracking room and a spacious isolation booth provide musicians and producers direct access to instruments and gear. The space is flexible and designed to maximize workflow.
We also actively collaborate with a host of accomplished musicians and can bring their unique expertise to each studio project.
Discography
I have owned and operated Vanity Sound, a recording and production studio, for over ten years in partnership with engineer Myles Turney. Vanity Sound got its start in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and moved up the river to Hastings-on-Hudson. We cater to both independent and signed artists. We are passionate about helping artists make recordings that match their creative vision.
