Meet the Designer
Josh is a local resident of Lake Martin and designs from a studio space at his home.
At a very early age, Josh expressed interest in following a career in design. His love for the outdoors sent him in the direction of Landscape Architecture. Throughout his high school and early college years, he focused on residential landscape design, planting, and maintenance. With early experience under a Landscape Architect and the largest local real estate developer, he continued to pursue designing and building lakeside landscapes on his own. Meanwhile he completed an undergrad degree in Environmental Design and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Auburn University.
Always having enjoyed the role of project management, his interest in construction was revived within his first few years out of school. He has pursued the design/build role in construction of a local art studio, pizza restaurant, and other residential construction from concept to completion.
Having a hand in design of outdoor and indoor spaces, his interest in the details has lead to his designing and building of smaller pieces, ranging from tables, beds, swings, and bars, to cutting boards and charcuterie trays.
