Its diverse storylines appeal to more than just those looking for a HEA. Don't skip this source for reading, there is something here for everyone. - Janet C
‘Desert Jade’ (coming soon!) was a surprise for me because the sword and fantasy genre is not my usual one. That I found it so enjoyable had me read it straight through. It was cloak and dagger, yet not cliched. The writing had a lyrical quality to it. Like many books like it, it had a prophecy at the middle of its plot and the reader will be surprised about how the prophecy is revealed. It was interesting how it seemed the story was going off in many directions, but then at the end, it just fell into place one thing after another to a satisfying conclusion that hinted at more of the story of the hero to follow. - A.D.

F.B.I. Special Agent Karen Sims draws the high-profile case of a kidnapped billionaire. It serves to remind her of her first kidnapping case as an F.B.I. agent fourteen years ago, a case where the young victim is never recovered. Still haunted by that case, Karen can only hope the current abducted person has his freedom successfully achieved, despite the kind of person Roger Edgewell is perceived to be. As his case unfolds with a ransom demand made, the similarities with another kidnapping a few years ago has Karen and her team on the hunt for the same kidnappers who abducted Susan Wilson. With Susan recovered when the ransom was paid by her parents, expectations of Edgewell’s release were high. When Karen realizes the motives for the two kidnappings couldn’t be more different, the matter of Roger Edgewell’s abduction moves far past a ransom demand.
