Key
West aircraft floats are not production line floats. Each float
is hand crafted composite construction using fiberglass and thin
High Density foam. This design produces an incredibly rigged
product. The floats are piece construction with the joint at
the deck. No joint below the waterline.
With over 30 years experience in the aviation field, 7 years of flying ultra-lights
accumulated over 4000 hours of float time. EP Dalton wasn't satisfied with the
floats currently available and designed a float to deliver performance where
others were lacking. The results have been excellent! After flying 1000+ hours
with 3000 takeoffs and landings under some brutal student load tests, everyone
that has used them has commented on their superiority to other floats.
