Our Buying Process

1. Sign Purchase Agreement

The first step to selling your land is signing the 'Purchase and Sale Agreement' that we mailed you. This is a simple contract between you and us stating the details of the transaction. Once signed, please send us the agreement through mail, email or fax.

2. Title Company Prepares Documents

Once we have both signed a Purchase and Sale Agreement, we will send that agreement to a Title Company (or, in some states, a Real Estate Attorney). The Title Company will conduct a title search and then prepare the necessary documents for us both to sign. Know that you can contact the Title Company at anytime to ask questions.

3. Schedule Time to Meet Notary

Once the closing documents are ready to be signed we will contact you to schedule a time and place to meet a notary. We will have a notary meet you at your convenience. You and the notary can meet pretty much anywhere at any time - your house, your work, McDonald's around the corner, etc.

4. Sign Closing Documents

The notary will bring all the printed documents for you to sign. All you need to do is sign a few pieces of paper and that's it! The notary will package the documents for overnight shipping back to the Title Company. Know that you can contact the Title Company to double-check that funds are in their bank account and ready to be sent to you before signing any documents.

5. Title Company Sends You Your Check

Once the Title Company recieves the signed and notarized documents they will write you a check and send to through via UPS or FedEx. You can also choose to have the Title Company wire the funds directly in to your bank account.
