The Massachusetts Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators (MAECTE) is a professional voice of Early Childhood Educator preparation. The organization is committed to supporting and promoting the preparation, professionalism and continued education of all Early Childhood Educators. We work collaboratively to enhance the educational experience of Early Childhood Educators, young children and families within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
What We Do
MAECTE provides vision, leadership, resources, policy initiatives and professional development opportunities to support the needs of Early Childhood Teacher Educators. MAECTE members work to strengthen the preparation of Early Childhood Educators through strong relationship building and advocacy with a variety of stakeholders including professors and administrators within their home institutions, PK-12 educators and other leaders, caregivers and community members.

Attendance at both sessions is encouraged but not required. Discussions will be facilitated by MSAA, MAECTE and Department staff.
