My Story
Music has long been a love of mine and now I am seeking the opportunity to share it with others. I taught my very first piano student when I was 15 years old back in 2013. I knew from a young age that wanted to work with children and teaching music lessons became a natural course of action for me. I offered private violin and piano lessons all through high school and college to help pay for tuition. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in violin performance from Brigham Young University and have had many performing opportunities with the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra as well as performing in smaller ensembles for private events and weddings. My most memorable performance would have to be when I played in the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra with the legendary Itzhak Perlman. SInce moving to the Bryan/College Station area I've strived to become more involved in the musical community. I am a member of the Brazos Civic Orchestra and also am an accompanist for my local church here in Bryan. Through all of my years of teaching violin and piano lessons I have grown to be a better teacher and have loved every minute of it. My mission is to help my students develop good technique as well as build their confidence and help them find the joy in music.
