Our History
We are small but mighty! Established in 2017, we focus on saving dogs from Los Angeles city shelters. It takes a village, so please let us know if you'd like to be part of the misfit crew.
How It Began
After volunteering for years with local animal rescues, our founder decided to branch out on her own and establish Misfit Dog Rescue. Her first dog, Joni, (adopted from Much Love Animal Rescue) was just the beginning of her inspiration to make an impact on saving shelter dog's lives.
