“When I first started Sec 3, I failed all the exams and class test for both Pure Chemistry and A Math. Ms Andrea then started teaching me E Math, A Math and Chemistry in mid Sec 3. She clears any misconceptions that I had and helped me to build a stable foundation in these three subjects. The notes that she gives are clear and concise and helped me to understand each topic easily. The practice papers given are challenging and requires me to think deeper yet with Ms Andrea’s help, I learnt how to solve and master these questions. In small private groups, I can learn from my friends’ mistakes but at the same time have the privilege of a smaller teacher to student ratio compared to in schools and this gives me more opportunities to ask questions on the spot and clarify any doubts.Even with tough concepts I do not understand, she will explain it clearly for me or break it down until I finally understand. Approaching exams, Ms Andrea will organise extra classes so that the students can have time to revise with her. With Ms Andrea’s encouragement and guidance, I achieved distinctions and a score of 8 points for my O levels last year.”
