a freelance content creator
I’m a 23 year old, English-Nigerian mixed raced woman from East Sussex, United Kingdom. I am a YouTube & TikTok creator with over 13.7 million accumulated video views, with a passion for creating content and connecting with my viewers through transparency and showing my less than ‘Social Media worthy’ life scenarios.
I create Chronic Illness-focused content, with the aim of inspiring young people to not give up on life upon the receipt of a medical diagnosis.
I also frequently create beauty and lifestyle content, showcasing easy and on-trend makeup and hair tutorials, whilst showing my chronically ill viewers that it’s ok to maintain their sense of ‘self’ after diagnosis, by allowing themselves to do and enjoy things they loved before illness struck.
and chronic illness advocate
I suffer with a rare skin condition called Aquagenic Pruritus, which causes the skin to itch and burn for hours after coming into contact with any form of water including rain, sweat, tears and urine.

My content has heavily focused on the diagnosis, treatment and living aspects of life with a condition like this since I began posting to YouTube in 2017. This has not only helped a lot of other people with diagnosis, but has helped to provide comfort and ways of coping for thousands of subscribers and viewers. My goal in the future is to advocate for more accessible treatments for those living with poorly understood skin conditions like Aquagenic Pruritus. However, because my own health and symptoms are still at an unmanageable stage, I haven’t yet had the opportunity to campaign to my full potential yet.

I have undergone over 6 years of free medical treatment under the NHS in the UK, but nothing they were able to offer eased my pain even slightly. I have now exhausted all free treatment available to someone with this condition in the UK, so I must now begin funding my treatment privately with a new doctor outside of the UK, who is able to provide new and different treatment options to those available in the UK.

In March 2021, I was accepted for private medical. treatment in Germany, where I will have to find the funding to undergo the relevant testing, diagnosis and treatments I may need for such a debilitating disease.
