Outer Banks Dance Academy was founded on the belief that with passion, grace and dedication great things can be accomplished.   Whether your child wants to pursue a career in dance, or is just taking classes for fun,  our studio is the place to be.  Our classes are taught in a nurturing fashion that provides students with etiquette, confidence, and friendships that last a lifetime.  Dancers from Outer Banks Dance Academy have gone on to train with some of the top schools and companies in the world including but not limited to; Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Ballet Academy East, Kirov Academy of DC, School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Cary Ballet Conservatory, Orlando Ballet, and Alvin Ailey.

 

 

Our curriculum is heavily focused on ballet technique as it is the foundation of all dance.  All students at the academy are required to take ballet with the option to add other styles of dance.  Please visit our 'Class Description' page to learn more about the other styles of dance offered at our school.

 

 

All classes at the academy focus on using proper technique for the dancers.  Along with focusing on proper technique we focus on their health and wellness, goal setting, creativity, team building, and of course FUN!
