This portal is being developed as an experimental data management platform for use by the environmental community. The idea behind OpenEDMS is to put license-free data automation tools into the hands of a wide variety of environmental professionals spanning multiple disciplines and data types. Further, the objective is to assemble a toolset that is compatible with the requirements of all major Federal programs.
