Notices and Current Events

11/06/2023 The Annual Fall General Meeting Gerd Holz was nominated and agreed to be the 2024 President but later had to decline due to health reasons. After notice was given to the membership, the current members volunteered to serve on the 2025 Board. The rest of the meeting was concerned with budget matters or lack of adequate funding. Budget to be delayed until an accurate budget can be voted on.

10/09/2023 Nominations for the 2024 Board Of Directors resulted in only Steve Watson nominating anyone for Board positions, but all nominees declined to serve. Due to no one being nominated or serving the President made the decision (per the By-Laws) to hire Dana Properties as the Property Manager.

11/27/2022 The Special Assessment Meeting (SAM) did have the required minimum (21) quorum for a vote. Both measures were approved. Measure 1 was "Rounding Up" the monthly dues from $119.70 to a whole number of $120 [it costs dollars to count the pennies] and Measure 2 was the one time $120 Special Assessment for Project Green [to pay for Project Green "in cash"]. Both start in January 2023. The regular monthly dues are $120 plus the special assessment. The special assessment is payable in full, quarterly, or at least $10 per month in addition to your normal $120 dues for a total of $130 per month. Once your special assessment is paid in full you will just send in the regular dues of $120 per month.

The Special Assessment Meeting (SAM) did not have the required quorum for a vote. Per Covenants, the Board scheduled a second SAM for Sunday November 27th 3:00 poolside. Please turn in your second ballot a.s.a.p. Thank you.

10/17/2022 Nominations and Elections Results - "Election by Acclamation" declared
Hi Everyone,
This year no one ran for any Board position nor did anyone attend the Fall General Meeting. All of the 5 members nominated declined to serve on the Board of Directors for 2023, as such, the results of the Election is an "Election by Acclamation" or an uncontested election. Irma Campos will not be serving in 2023 so the Board will have to appoint someone to serve as Association Secretary. The five new nominations were: Pat Wende for VP, Bob Walter and Adele Galante for Secretary, Gerd Holz for Treasurer, and Gerd Holz and Kay Licona for Member at Large. My only observation is, all the nominees have served the Association in the past. Thank you all for your time and past service. I think its time we encourage members that have not served to come forward.

This year we are using a company called Election Buddy to process our voting. It's safe and secure.

You already received an email ballot to nominate candidates for the 2023 Board of Directors.
Check your email for your ballot, remember it might be in a spam folder or the trash.
You have 10 days to respond to the email ballot and nominate anyone you wish.
The nomination ballots have been emailed to everyone.
After ten days we will collect them all and remove anyone "not in good standing" and compile a
final ballot with all the candidates submitted for the 2023 Board of Directors.
The final ballot will be emailed to everyone on Monday September 26th, 2022.
The Voting period will be from Monday September 26th, 2022 until 12pm October 15th, 2022.
