ABOUT ME

I am a PhD Candidate in the Puckett Lab at the University of Memphis.

My dissertation research investigates the evolution of diet within Mammalia. I use bioinformatics to identify regions of the genome associated with the convergent evolution of carnivory in mammals.

I am interested in identifying the genomic mechanisms underlying the evolution of different traits across the tree of life.
