Building anything takes steps.
Our lives are like structures being built each day.
Each day is like a step towards a future we know little about, yet the part we play is just as important as the path it takes to get to wherever we are going to end up.
Slowing down and looking to the moments we are in now will build a future we dearly desire then.
Ask God to help keep your eyes to where you are now.
Trust Him with tomorrow.

Regarding the title and what it means, years ago, God taught me something I cannot forget . . . and will be forever marked by.
I would meet Him in my own way, and He would meet with me in His.
Ponds & Beavers comes from those experiences with Him where I've learned and am still learning the most important part of this journey I have ever known.
This online journal is meant to be a place to intentionally engage our hearts. My hope is that we don't just stop there.
I want us to recognize the things of our hearts so we can follow them back to His, which is our source of hope, life, and love.
Those things we find passion in doing . . . things that make us come alive . . . Those are all arrows found in our hearts desperately pointing to who God made us to be . . . and they lead us back to Him.
Let P&B inspire and encourage a get-away with just You and Him. Let something in the depths of your heart become stirred and churned into passion and desire to be who He has created you to be.
Let these be much more than words on a screen or lyrics to a song . . . but let this allow your heart to become free from all man-made attempts to understand the masculine soul and to finally have the breathing room to help find intimacy with your Father.
