A space for contemplation and learning.

Our Mission Statement

By creating an environment that plants and nurtures the seeds and deepens the roots of all meditative practices, Camas Meditation Hall will provide the space for and experiences in attentive awareness to community health, education, and meditation groups through both daily sessions and longer retreats and instruction.

Meditation is a journey to the center…

Thursday Morning Sits at 9:30 am
Corner of 32nd Street & San Juan Avenue
(weather permitting)

You are invited to meditate on the ground or use one of our benches.

Camas Hall will be non-denominational, open from dawn to dusk, and will welcome anyone who wants to meditate, regardless of how they meditate. Admission will be by voluntary donation.

Please help us build and support the center.

Camas Hall will be a new building for community meditation designed by the world-renowned artist, James Turrell, in concert with architects Jim Olson and Richard Berg, and landscape architect, Randy Allworth.
