 What Is Transdermal Delivery?

In today’s health market, the traditional methods of supplement delivery into the body are in the form of pills, capsules, powders, liquids or intravenous needles of which are invasive and uncomfortable.  These methods, although they have some form of effectiveness, do not yield the highest level of efficiency or comfort when administering needed supplements.

Transdermal supplement delivery is the method of delivering supplements through the skin in a non-invasive manner.  During transdermal delivery a topical patch is placed on the skin in which the supplement is released in a controlled fashion throughout the body.

How Does The Transdermal Process Work?

The transdermal process is quite simple, safe and effective.  The skin is the largest organ of the body and has 3 layers. The first and outermost layer of the skin is the epidermis.  The epidermis contains the stratum corneum which is the primary barrier of the skin to the entry of any foreign substances.  This outermost layer of the skin is where the topical patch is placed via an adhesive backing.

The second layer of the skin is the dermis.  This layer is beneath the epidermis and contains connective tissue which gives the skin structure and strength.  It also contains sweat glands and hair follicles.  The dermis transmits supplements from a patch into the deepest layer of the skin.

The third and deepest layer of the skin is the hypodermis.  This layer is made of fat and more connective tissue and also contains blood vessels which reach into the dermis and epidermis.  These blood vessels are very important in the essential transmission of supplements from a patch into the bloodstream.

These 3 layers of the skin successfully work together to adsorb and ultimately distribute the supplements throughout the body via the bloodstream

What Are Advantages Of Transdermal Delivery Above Traditional Methods?

Transdermal supplement delivery offers several benefits over that of traditional delivery methods.  The first and foremost benefit is the method’s direct-to-bloodstream delivery approach which bypasses the liver’s metabolic activity.  The patch is activated by an individual’s body heat of which the supplement is then released through the skin into the bloodstream.

The second advantage is that the supplement is gradually and constantly released throughout the body in a controlled fashion rather than in a large single dose as with most traditional methods.  Furthermore, the transdermal method allows the supplement to bypass the acidic environment found in the digestive system.

Traditional delivery methods require supplements to enter the digestive tract which is then broken down by stomach acids drastically reducing the supplements effectiveness.  Conversely, the transdermal approach allows the supplement to bypass the gastrointestinal track which may also reduce the risk of side effects.

Additionally, transdermal delivery is a convenient, non-invasive, painless method that eliminates the need for injections that can cause an individual to experience irritation or discomfort.

We at Prime T pride ourselves on supplying non-invasive, pain free, quality and cost effective transdermal supplements to aid in your overall bodily health.

Many supplements in today's market are in hard pill or caplet form, including enteric coated pills which are hard pills with a candy like outer shell.  This often becomes problematic as hard pills have a synthetic chemical in them called Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP) which is used to bind the tablets or pills together. This chemical when consumed has been known to cause arthritis and the proliferation of joint inflammatory responses and complications in the body.

Another benefit of transdermal delivery is that it's a convenient, non-invasive, painless method that eliminates the need for injections that can cause an individual to experience irritation or discomfort.

We at Prime T pride ourselves in supplying only non-invasive, pain free, top quality and cost effective transdermal supplements to aid in your overall bodily health.  Prime T utilizes specific balance and the purest Pharmaceutical Grade sources which eliminates the need for higher milligram dosages.  Why?  The answer is simple.  We don't want the liver to be overworked.  When the liver is overworked, optimal function is greatly diminished.

If the liver isn't doing its job of breaking down toxins properly, then they'll need to be eliminated from your body by other means.  Another manner in which toxins are eliminated is through your skin.  This path of elimination may manifest itself in conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, acne and breakouts which may be precursors and early signs of liver dysfunction.

Pharmaceutical Grade supplements of the purest form are much more effective than non-pharmaceutical inferior supplements.

All Prime T products are manufactured in accordance to United States GMP and have a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.
