Research and Development Services for Wave-based Imaging and Monitoring

What we do

We provide research and development services with an emphasis on advanced wave-based imaging and inversion aided by deep learning. While we have a background in subsurface technology for traditional energy exploration and production through seismic data processing and monitoring, we focus our effort on novel solutions that have applications in both traditional energy as well as new sustainable energy, civil engineering, climate adaptation and structural health monitoring.

About us

We currently are a team of four PhD's with backgrounds in geophysics and atomic physics with expertise and experience both in wave-based-imaging and inversion-related R&D as well as seismic data processing using both marine and land data. For our launching customer we develop a novel seismic imaging method for which we are exploring new use cases in structural health monitoring and civil engineering for climate adaptation. We have furthermore developed a novel way to automatically and rapidly infer shear-wave velocity (directly related to the strength) of the shallow subsurface from measurements of interface-waves that travel along the ocean-bottom floor. We are currently looking for as well as talking to potential partners to see how we can develop this method for use in off-shore wind-park construction and subsurface strength monitoring.

Our office is located at the YES!Delft building, one of Europe’s leading incubators on the campus of Delft University of Technology in Delft in the Netherlands. We put particular value in having our office close to Delft University of Technology and make a point of interacting on a weekly basis with students and faculty at the faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences to keep abreast with current developments in this area and stay in contact with upcoming talents.
