Rawan is an interior architect and curator of design. She has lived in a number of cities, moving twelve times and counting. She paints as a means of processing.
Her career has been defined by a commitment to establishing opportunities for Arab design practitioners to be represented, and their work developed and promoted. She has produced numerous multiscale exhibitions, installations, and knowledge-exchange programmes for design festivals including Dubai Design Week and Design Days Dubai.
Rawan is founder of beyyn, meaning 'to reveal' in Arabic. beyyn curates, commissions and sells contemporary Middle Eastern design objects, revealing the story behind the objects, their makers, and the places they reflect.
