I love this piece of jewelry and so looked up the Vicús people on Wikipedia. It says that only men were allowed to wear jewelry in their culture, so I am now picturing a fearsome Vicús warrior who is extremely ripped and terrifying and also likes wearing nose jewelry with adorable kitty-cats on because he loves their boopable noses and fuzzy pawsies.
