LMFT Licensed Psychotherapist

Welcome.

Gosh its been a crazy couple of years, hasn't it? I think the whole world could benefit from therapy at this point. The adjustment to our lives being flipped upside-down, over a year in isolation, insecurity and turmoil, and then back to whatever "normal" means has taken it's toll. I'm on this journey with you and I'm happy to help.

It's easy to get accustomed to things being not so great. We grin and bear it while slowly dying inside. Whether it's having a preteen that is always worrying, a teenager who won't talk to you, or feeling like you're stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed - you might be asking yourself, "how did things end up here?" Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to gain insight, learn new things, and move forward toward feeling more happy, peaceful, and fulfilled. This is where I come in.

I am a licensed therapist in WA with a private virtual/online practice. I work with teens, college students/young adults, and anxious moms. (I work with children on a case by case basis.)

If you come by way of a previous client, I used to have an office in Ballard/Seattle WA. As with many other changes due to Covid, I chose to move my practice online and no longer do in person sessions. I've found that zoom sessions are super convenient, and are just as productive as in person sessions.

Whether you are looking for help for you or your teen, I invite you to look through my website. You'll find I'm generally pretty "warm and fuzzy" but direct and honest too. I trust you'll get a gut feeling - If you feel we'd be a good fit, please email to ask any questions or to set up a session. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Services:

Teens | Young Adults | Adults & Overwhelmed Mom's

I provide individual therapy sessions via zoom or FaceTime.

Working with teens, young adults, and moms is my jam. The bulk of my clients struggle with anxiety (stress, perfectionism, panic attacks, social anxiety, overwhelm, scary life transitions) and/or varying degrees of depression (sadness, lack of motivation, general life angst, negative thoughts, isolation/withdrawal).

We are in this work together - to connect to emotions, process trauma, develop skills, & gather a plan for where you are headed.

My Approach

I'm excited to now also offer coaching for women -  If you are ready to reconnect with yourself, get off the diet rollercoaster, and learn to love your body, please view my site at: makingpeacewithyourbody.com
