Ryan Hobbs, 

Trumpet Performer and Educator

Chicago native Ryan Hobbs began playing trumpet at age 10, and has pursued a life-long love affair with it ever since. Ryan is a busy performer and educator, and maintains a full time career in music.  He is currently Professor of Trumpet at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL, and Principal Trumpet of the Heartland Festival Orchestra in Washington, IL, and plays trumpet with Northside Brass Quintet.  Ryan is available for hire as a Performer and Educator offering Private Lessons, Masterclasses, Solo Performances and Recitals.  He lives in Geneva, IL with his wife Molly, daughter's Emma and Claire, and dog Bernie.
