This is a landing page I designed for readeo.com. A web based platform for virtual storytime using technology similar to zoom. I am involved in the creation of social ads, email layouts, illustrations and aspects of the UI design.
Sunrise cafe is a local Virginia Beach breakfast cafe that I see on my way home from work every.. single.. day.
It has a retro vibe on the inside, which i wanted to reflect in the logo. The goal was to give it a face lift where it would attract the youths while still making it familiar to the regulars.
brainpickings.org is a popular book blog focusing mostly on philosophy. The main purpose of this app built in sketch is to promote donations to the organization and also make you think WAY too hard.
Here are a few pages from a Visit Phoenix strategy document that I developed the style for during their brand development research.
I drew inspiration for the brand from Phoenix’s vibrant, sunny, urbanscape, and the traditional designs and textiles of the Native American tribes that first resided there.

Billings Montana was hoping to attract more tourist to their destination. This is some campaign spec I created drawing on the area’s rural roots, grit and buckle up attitude. I took part in the art direction and design of this spec.
Here are a few pages from a strategy document I branded for Deerfield Valley, VT, a premier skiing destination for the outdoorsy wonderer. All content has been replaced with lorem ipsum.
Checkered Flag is a car dealership local to Virginia Beach. This is a release event invite for Porsche’s first all-electric Porsche, the Porsche Taycon.
I was able to accomplish the AR aspect of this invite with the SlideAR app that works with a layering system. Augmented reality is something that I have been researching and trying to wrap my head around. I think it could be the next big thing. The future is coming fast y’all, BUCKLE UP.
Lancaster is a booming town in Pennsylvania known mostly for their amish community but also their laid back and communal culture. The design of these banners and social ads was based on their new positioning share some goodness.
Conc.AR.t is an artificial reality app that allows you to view concerts through your screen into the space you are in. The whole concept would, in theory, work with Live Nation’s new venture Next VR which launches this summer (2020).
The thought is to take that footage/data and construct a 3D rendition of the artist/band from that specific concert. There is an opportunity to add a layer of visual effects, such as the butterflies in Kacey Musgrave’s butterfly song (shown below).
This would allow not only a whole different experience for avid concert goers but also an opportunity for those who can’t always afford to see their favorite band live, and everyone should get to do that.
Mount Vernon, also known as George Washington’s home, was looking to gain more memberships to the establishment. I took part in the art direction and design of this spec.
Underrated Subjects is a music producing company my friend had started. This T-shirt was originally illustrated to raise money for a move from the beaches of Virginia to the mountains of Colorado.
Did he end up going? No. Did he get a cool T-shirt? That’s all a matter of taste I suppose. (I think yes.)
